Going from new iWork app and opening with older version

I have iWork 9 at work and the new version on Maveric at home. If I make something at home, I am unable to download it and open on my work computer. I can't always edit in iCloud.

To be frankly honest, I do not love the icloud version yet. It need quick acces to the text/ font/ alignment formatting bar, that should be right above the text edit fieled. I do not want to have to always go back and forth between tabs on the inspector window.

Also, can you add a way to customize the toolbar?

I looked and looked and cannot find a way to always show rulers and guides. I have to set that for every doc, if I need that preference. Will you be fixing this bug?

The apps look pretty good for a beta version, but the above suggestions are a must to keep me in the iCloud.
