When will Pages on iCloud not be beta anymore?
I want to be able to edit documents that I've created on Pages on my iMac and saved to iCloud Pages. Does anyone know when that is going to be possible?

I think it is possible now. But the software is so opaque it is not clear what is happening.
I have saved a document that I created on my Mac on iCloud. I sent links to my collaborators. They were able to edit the document, HOWEVER, when two of us were editing at the same time the sync was totally bonkers. The program continually confesses to having sync problems and asks whether you want to save the version of someone's Mac or on iCloud. Whichever you choose seems to result in lost work for at least one of the collaborators. We finally gave up on simultaneous editing, making sure only one of us was using the file at a time. This seems to work well, but a solution to the sync problem would make this really great collaboration software.
We might be missing something that would allow us to simultaneously edit, but whatever we might be missing is not readily apparent.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply! I guess I should clarify a little bit more. I want to be able to edit the document while on iCloud. It says it can't do it yet because it is in beta. So I was wondering if anyone has any idea when it will no longer be beta.
I don't have any problem using Pages for iCloud beta to edit docs created on my Mac. Where are you located?
Unfortunately nobody in these forums can ever tell you anything about Apple's plans to add features, end beta status, fix bugs, etc. You just have to wait until they announce it.
Really? I live in Southern California.
What browser and os are you using with Pages for iCloud beta?
Safari OS X
which OS X?
Oops! 😝
10.9
Pages 5 or Pages 4?
It says 4.3 but I'm not showing any possible upgrades for it.
It shows the Pages 5 version on my icloud, but on my mac, it is still the 4.3 version.

I don't understand what you mean by that. When you are logged into iCloud.com with your browser, you should see an icon called Pages beta like below but there is no version number on that. Pages 5 is a new version of Pages for your Mac.
Use the camera icon to post a photo of what you are seeing.
Look at the bottom of my screen. It is showing the Original Pages and the Pages 5 icons. I just checked my applications and found the new one in there. Weird that the old one still shows up after I upgraded.

Guess that answers my question!

Sorry, I could not see your photo, you have to follow the directions you get when you click on the camera icon or it does not work.
The old one is still there because they are so different that many people will have to keep using the old to have the features they need.
