Just find that i can't double tap-&-hold to use drag-&-drop. i can double click, but can't drag-&-drop.
However, i can use three fingers to drag-&-drop windows position, even files in finder.
Why? how to solve this? I'm using the latest iMac and Mavericks with Magic Trackpad.

If third-party software called "Air Display" or "AirParrot" is installed, remove it according to the developer's instructions, then reboot. Back up all data before making any changes.
I'm having the same problem with touchpad on new late 2013 15" PowerBook Pro. On my 2008 PowerBook, I could do the single finger double tap and drag. Using three fingers is awkward especially for a women with nails.
I don't have any such 3rd party s/w, but I do have a brand new trackpad and a shiny new installation of elcappitan on my recently replaced Mac Pro. Drag and drop seems to work fine on my mid 2015 MacBook pro with the original trackpad. I restored the OS from my 2015 MacBook Pro before installing E/C as an upgrade.
