if you start a backup and it takes longer than you can afford to wait (10 hours), is there a way to save what has been backedup already and start from the remaining point?

i started backing up my iphone last night at 9pm, woke up this morning and there is still 3 hours left. Is there a way to save what has been backed up already or will I have to start all over?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.3

You will have to start over if you stop the backup now.

One of the biggest causes of slow iOS backups are photos/videos in your camera roll. So, if you have a number of photos/videos, import them first, delete from your camera roll, then try backing up:
