Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I went into my iTunes Radio and found that it was playing edited songs not the explicit versions. I went to change the slider because I thought it was on "allow explicit tracks". the slider wasn't even there anymore. Any help?

iTunes Radio by default is set to play tracks not marked as explicit. To enable explicit tracks, tap the Info button (looks like the letter i in a circle) at the top of the screen from within any station. Tap to turn on Allow Explicit Tracks. Enabling explicit tracks will enable explicit tracks for all radio stations on that device. This setting does not sync to other devices.

I know how to do that part because I've seen it before but the other morning i went to switch it because it was playing clean versions of music and the slider is not there. The button is gone. I have a screenshot but I don't know how to post it on here.
I'm having a similar — but exactly opposite — problem right now. iTunes Radio is playing explicit tracks (while driving with my kids in the car) even though I'd previously ensured it was set so they weren't allowed. But like Cavittcl, when I go look for the settings slider described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5848, it's not there.
Judysings your advice didn't help me or Cav I am pretty sure that the allow explicit songs are disabled and there is no slider for it.
Itunes radio block solved.
First go to settings>cellular.. turn off the music app.
This will block cellular data going to the music app.
Next go to your router's webpage and block itunes.apple.com
This will block wifi data going to the music app.
The explicit restriction doesn't work very well and the profane
words were still being heard by my children on their iphone.
