Q: iPad message

Yestreday I left a message for help. The message was that my iPad2 was giving this message that No Sim Card Installed, while there is one installed. It was working perfectly before now without problems. I am in Nigeria and I bought the device in the USA. Please advice on any help to restore it. cheers
