Same problem here.
Have you tried authorising from another device yet to see if this resolves the issue? I will try this later and let you know if it helps in anyway.

Dec 7, 2013 8:01 AM in response to Pathatlonby Grey_Squirrel,I checked the status of Keychain on my iPad and found that it was switched off, which is strange as I definitely had not switched it off myself.
I then switched Keychain back on on the iPad and entered my Apple ID password as requested, which saw Keychain stay switched on the iPad. Keychain was then switched back on on my iPhone and I again entered the password for my Apple ID. However, instead of using the SMS method of authorising the device I used the pop-up message on my iPad and once again entered the password.
At the moment Keychain remains on on both the iPad and the iPhone and so the above appears to have fixed the issues for me. Not sure why this problem occurred in the first place but hope this fix also works for you - good luck!!
