According to Apple security updates, 7.0.4 is the most recent iOS update for iPhone 4 and later, so you should be all set. If you encounter issues updating in the future, I'd use the following guide to troubleshoot:

Have a good one,

When using iTunes for Windoz. With my iPhone connected.
When i click (in itunes) check for update, the itunes application (in windoz) then attempts to find a file.
I would expect, itunes to work as it did in the past, by first downloading the update for the iphone (if one was available) and then to install. Not search for some file.
Note - I was experiencing this problem before I updated the phone to 7.0.4. I updated the phone via wifi, without using the itunes for windoz application.
