Q: trying to sync my ipod to my new computer, do I have to deauthorize my old one first?

Cant get ipod touch to sync to my new computer? do I have to deauthorize my old puter first?? very frustrating.... !

Yes you would have to deauthorize all devices before syncing your device with your new computer. After you deauthorize the devices, authorize your new computer to transfer content onto your device.
