Do I need the Application Support: Logic folder for GarageBand?

I use GarageBand 10.0.1, but not Logic. Today, I noticed a Logic folder in Application Support that's almost 800MB. The largest sub-folder is EXS Factory Samples (637MB), which contains "Drum Kit Designer", "01 Acoustic Pianos" and "07 Guitars". Since I don't use Logic do I need these folders? If I delete the Logic folder, will it have any effect on GarageBand?

Thanks in advance.

I know that this is years later, but if anybody is stumbling upon this question now, the answer is KEEP THE LOGIC FOLDER. I deleted it to see what happens and lost all the instruments and automations that I had put into songs over the past few years. I was confused at why I had a Logic folder but now I can tell you all in certainty that you should NOT delete it.

Hope my pain helped y'all.

TL;DR - Don't Delete it. You really need it
