My iphone keeps on restarting when i plug in the charger it shows the apple logo then it will fade away then show the logo and fade away. i tried dfu but when itunes prompt that its waiting for the iphone it starts the logo fade again. i cannot turn on my iphone what should i do?????

I have a strange suspicion that this is a software issue and apple will need to release a patch or update to fix this. My girlfriend and I are both having this issue with the iPhone 5. I'm sure apple is working away at trying to find out where the bug in the software is.
I have the same issue, it is so incredibly frustrating !! And they won't give me a replacement device because I don't have apple care and I'm out of my 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
I can charge it while it's doing the reboot loop, half an hour later i unplug it, restart it (home + power button hold) and then it works fine, until I plug it back in. as soon as I do that, it starts restarting again.
I just tried to reset to factory settings and it doesn't help, same issue. Very frustrating.
