iCloud and loudspeakers don't work

Hi,

I have two problems with my iPhone 4S:

The loudspeakers stopped working, eventhough I cleaned them carefully I couldn't fix it. I tried rebooting or resetting it, that didn't work at all. And then I thought I'd better fix it by resetting it as new. But my iCloud settings must be off cause it claimed not being able to save any data since 36 weeks (I admit to have ignored that notice but I couldn't fix it then either).

So now I tried to do something about iCloud but I couldn't get further that opening the window, cause it wants me to accept the new Terms and Conditions first, but that button doesn't work cause all I get is that it cannot connect to the server...So now what? Any tips?

I could buy a new phone, as the store told me to do. But this phone works otherwise and I have no problems with the sound via headphones and I can sync with my laptop, but still.

I updated to iOS 7.0.3 a week ago, but the problem started about a month ago, and iCloud a while ago;)

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.

First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)

If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.

If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.

Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.
