Q: I have installed OS X version 10.9 mavericks to put the cloud on my computer and it has removed all my photos from iPhoto. please advise

Can someone help me understand how I retrieve 10 years of photos!

    Simpl solution as always: restore from your back up.

     

    If, for some reason that's not possible, can you give us  fuller description of the issue? Why do you think these photos were removed from iphoto? Are the any error messages? What version of iPhoto do you have?

    Please explain - what happens when you are launching iPhoto?

    What iPhoto version created your iPhoto library? Was it iPhoto '11 or an older version?

     

    What is your current iPhoto version? When you installed Mavericks, did you upgrade iPhoto to iPhoto version 9.5, or do you still have an older iPhoto version installed?
