Q: Quicktime Pro registration not accepted?

I've recently upgraded to Mavericks. Is my Quicktime Pro registration no longer valid?

I've paid for the software some years ago but Apple is asking me to pay $29.99 for it again.

Does anyone have any information on this topic?

All I know is when I installed 10.9 on my 10.7 machine, my copy of QT Pro 7 stayed intact and runs just fine.

I'd go looking to see if QT7 was moved during the install or marked as inactive.
