Q: How do I do the start up temporarily thing? computer is locked on gray screen.

How do I fix this problem? without lossing data?

Yes thats why I put up the question. How am I supposed to do it if it's locked on a white screen? have no idea who to install the temporary thing they are talking about.

And you downloaded the update shown in blue in that document. If you did and you still have the problem they suggest you may have a hardware problem. Just as help I include that download link again.
