In Safari, Google Play silent / no sound.

I'm not a fan of Chrome but I'm using Google Play to put my music in the cloud. But for some reason when I log onto Google Play using Safari, it wont play any sound when I try and play music?

I re-downloaded Google Chrome browser and the music plays fine form that browser - just not from Safari. Is this Apple trying to handicap the Google Play service in Safari? Surely not...weird! Anyway I'm having to use Chrome now to play the music but dont see why it wouldn;t work through Safari...
