I recent bought an app on the MAC App Store, but it didn't work on my computer no matter what I did. I asked for a refund from Apple and I received an email, stating that the refund had gone through and I was shown a receipt. My question is though: Where does that refund go to? I orignally placed the funds on my account via a gift card. I was wondering if the funds went to my account, debit card on the account, or the gift card orignially used?
The funds should have been credited to the balance of the gift card.

So I would have to redeem the card again?
That might be an issue since I threw the gift card away.
The refund did not get placed back on the gift card, it was added as a credit on your account, just as you had a credit on your account after you redeemed the gift card.
Is there a waiting period before that shows? I have checked my account balance, and it hasn't come onto it yet.
I've never seen anyone who stated that they had recieved a refund say how quickly it appeared in their account.
Well I'll just wait a few days and if nothing happens, I'll contact apple. Thanks all for the help.
