Tip: Apple TV Device ID Location for MDM use

When configuring a third party Mobile Devide Management System, it Asked for a Device ID from the Apple TV.

The device ID is not visible by default, but can be found under Settings--> General--> About.

Once in the About section, use your remote and press Up (3 times) until you see "Bonjour Device ID" Show up at the bottom of the screen.

Pressing UP will also show the Wifi BSSID and the Wifi Channel.

Note: This Apple TV was connected through wifi and the MAC address of the WIFI was one digit lower than the Bonjour Device ID in our case. That may be an easier way to determine the Device ID.

System Notes: AppleTV3 /MD199LL/A with 6.01 software connected through wifi.
