group SMS stuck in outgoing

iPhone 4S (v7.0.4)

Every time I add more than one person to a normal SMS text (to change to a group text) It starts to send, but then just gets stuck with Outgoing at the top of Messages App.

This is sending to people that do not have iPhones, once I forward individualy it sends fine.

Tested with iPhone users and same problem.

I have tried rebooting, reseting, disabing iMessage. Nothing works. This problem seems have happened since the 7.0.4 update I installed.

Any other fixes/work arounds?

Hi

Yes, have a data plan. Happens both on a wi-fi and on 3G network.

Yes tried re-setting network settings. group sms is are still stuck saying 'outgoing'.

No can't itunes restore - I update my phone OTA and have never connected it to iTines.

Group messages are not SMS messages, they are MMS messages. Do you have a cellular data plan? Is cellular data turned on on your phone? Do you have a plan that allows MMS messaging?

Have you tried re-setting the network settings?

Have you tried restoring the phone with iTunes?
