I'm having an issue listening to audio while offline on an iPhone 4s with iTunes U in iOS 7.0.1.
I've subscribed to a class, and have downloaded the audio files for the lectures I want to hear. Later, when attempting to play back these files in airplane mode, the application attempts to play the file briefly, then fails with the error "Error: Playback failed".
Can anyone give me any insight into why this is failing?
It might be relevant, but when not in airplane mode, playing back these same files that have already been downloaded seem to be streaming through the iTunes U client, instead of playing the local versions I've downloaded.
