I upgraded to Mavericks and I lost my Apple Mail To-Do List. Is there any way to recover it?

I upgraded to Mavericks and I lost my Apple Mail To-Do List. Is there any way to recover it? I did not see a way to reach it in Time Machine, but I don't have a lot of experience with Time Machine either. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give me!

Is there a simple way to take items from emails and turn them into reminders? Thanks.

Drag the email message to Reminders.

If you want to take snippets of text, create an Automator Service like this:

User uploaded file

Under Options, you can set it to Show the action when the workflow runs and it will pop up that dialog so you can add the desired info. Save the workflow with a short, useful name like New Reminder.

You can use it from the contextual menu, Services submenu, or by assigning it a shortcut key.
