Unable to setup Ken Burns effect in iMovie 2013

Hello!

Since I updated my iMovie to 10.0.1 version, I cannot setup the transition in Ken Burns effect for photos.

When I select "crop" button, I can see Start and End frames, but I cannot edit their borders. The cursor changes its form when I hover the rectangle border, but the border stays unchanged when I try to drag it.

Please how to solve this puzzle?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Change the language priority in System Stettings (English should be the first)
