Green Screen on 2nd Display

Since upgrading to Mavericks my MacBook Pro 2.9 Ghz Core i7 displays a greenish screen overlay on my 2nd monitor after waking the MBP from sleep. I have also been able to replicate this using a projector, so I know it is not an issue with the monitor itself. This green screen goes away as soon as I reopen my MBP's display. Has anyone else experienced this, if so do you know of a solution?
