How do I see my images on my display when I'm tethered to my 5D Mark II. I now the files are going to chosed harddrive, but why can't I see the images on the display as I shoot?

If you are asking for live previewing then the answer is that Aperture tethered shooting doesn;t do live previews.

I sort of figured that out, but thanks for confirming it. I'll work around it by ending the session then looking at the images. It's slower, but I'll manage it.

When tethered to my 5D Mark II I'm not seeing the images appear on my display. I see them loading, but how can I view them as I shoot to check for lighting?
