My Podcast gets cut-off when my screen autolocks? Is this a 7.0.3 fix that makes a bug?

I have noticed that, since the latest iOS update, my podcast (a radio show) gets cut-off when my screen autolocks. If I unlock the phone, the podcast continues. I like to be able to let the phone lock and the podcast continue, saving battery life...especially on long drives. Kinda a pain to have to unlock the phone for the podcast to continue and setting the screen to "never lock" seems an unreasonable compormise? Let me know if anyone knows anything about this!

Hello PraetorBen,

It sounds like you are playing a podcast, and when the screen Auto Locks, the podcast stops playing but then resumes when the phone is unlocked. I would start with closing all the running apps on the phone:

iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

Swipe the app up to close it.

When you have done that restart the phone and try playing the podcasts again to see if the issue persists:

If it does persiss, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it.
