conditional formatting

Hi,

the numbers conditional formatting appears to have a bug. Anyone else seeing that.

when I add rules that are based on a relative cell value they do not copy when you copy and paste that cell somewhere else in the sheet.

Also when you have more than one on the cell only the first rule gets copied down.

e.g. cell > 21500 copies to other cells.

cell > $h2 does not copy down to other cells

if you highlight all the cells affected you can then "combine the rules" but that seems clunky.

also if you delete content you seem to lose the number formatting (say if you add a thousand seperator)

Hi Mark,

Once you know that "combine the rules" is the most reliable way to copy the conditional highlighting to other cells, it works pretty well, though.

Perhaps you could go to Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in the menu and suggest that conditional highlighting should copy and paste along with other cell formatting and content.
