Nov 22, 2013 9:27 AM in response to numb3rby catnemip,Yeah, having same issue as well. Also using dropbox as reponsitory for files. Slide thumbnails are intact, but clicking the thumnails brings up corrupted images Always fun scrambling to get a deck finished for a meeting and having it corrupted at the last minute?

Nov 22, 2013 10:01 AM in response to catnemipby numb3r,We've reverted back to iwork 09 as you'll soon find out at type of collberative work over dropbox will result in pain. The only solution to collaberate appears to be with iCloud. However, this poses additional hurdles as you can only share keynotes from iCloud using a registered iCloud mail account.

Dec 2, 2013 11:08 AM in response to numb3rby ragain,I have the same problem. I figured out how to fix it but it is a joke to have to do this. Keynote files are saved as a folder in dropbox and that folder has all the pictures and meta data in it. You have to revert every single image and file in the keynote "folder" back to a working date. For me this meant reverting 60 image files just to fix one Keynote presentation. Either Dropbox needs to be able to revert an entire folder or Apple needs to convert Keynote files to a single file before saving. THIS MUST BE FIXED!

Dec 2, 2013 11:26 AM in response to ragainby catnemip,Yeah, its been painful. An interim work around is to work locally on your keynote decks. Once complete, zip the keynote and copy to dropbox folder. Requires a change in behavior which leaves room for failure (especially in larger teams), interrupted workflows etc. Sitll it helped me crank some timely stuff out.

Dec 17, 2013 3:54 AM in response to numb3rby maximizor,This is a MASSIVE problem. Keynote autosaves every single small change. With multiple team members on multiple locations it's virtually impossible to know if someone even does 1 tiny change in the presentation, while someone else is doing the same. The autosave makes this almost a certainty to happen.
We had to do multiple reworks this weekend, because of this. It makes working with dropbox and Keynote virtually impossible. I asked around and all Agencies I know, having the same issue.
One change on two locations, even by accident means:
- Broken images
- Broken videos
- Mixed images turning on different locaties
- Mixed videos turning on different locaties
- Keynote versioning broke.
- No dropbox versioning because of the new file format,
Only thing that can save you is a local backup.....OMG!!
It feels like a viral outbreak, and nobody is realising it yet....

Jan 21, 2014 12:17 AM in response to numb3rby Alfonskb,We have the same problem. Since Keynote 6 on Mavericks the images in our presentations are totaly messed up. It unbelievable how Apple managed to totally mess up Keynote 6. We're switching back to version 5.3.
Also we are working on Google Drive which seems to make things even worse. Google this: Mavericks Pages, Numbers, Keynote not syncing correctly.

Jul 24, 2014 8:50 PM in response to numb3rby Mattbo,Has thsi issue been resolved? This is plaguing me and I need a fix. I have to practically build a new presentation every time I show it as the images are lost or out of order. We use dropbox to sync our presentations and this is killing our time and screwing up our workflow. We tried using iCloud and it didn't seem to work any better.

Dec 16, 2015 8:15 AM in response to numb3rby Chad Grant,This is what seems to be working for us. We are changing ALL files to Package instead of SingleFile.
Save documents as a package or a single file in iWork for Mac - Apple Support
