how to retrieve a document saved in iCloud
I have saved a document via Preview to iCloud.How to retrieve it ?

Simply right-click (or control-click) on the document and click Download Document... Then choose a download format: Pages, PDF, or Word. I hope this answers your question if this is what you meant by retrieving.
