Q: How can I restore my trackpad to it's previous excellent performance?

Nov 22, 2013 5:38 AMby SGayleC,I 'm not sure I even asked the right question. When I can get the cursor to move to where I want it, it won't do anything, like open an email message, Ok, it did respond maybe 5 minutes later.
Also the dock disappeared when I selected mail and I don't know how tho get it back.
Another symptom, I tried to shrink my mail and many seconds later it responded, but I have no control.
I'm at a loss. My Mac was operating perfectly until I took it to an Apple store to get some 'how to use it help'. The behaviour change started when I was there.

Call the Apple Store ASAP and let them know. It's not a coincidence that it hapened right there.
