tried everything from http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1717 but no solution

i still have itunes crashing immediately, sometimes i have a window saying itunes crashed but most of the times it just doesn't start apart from creating the itunes directory in the music folder. I tried evertything in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1717 but it still crashes. And when i say everything, i mean really everything. at first creating another user account did the trick , then itunes crashed on that account too and never reopened.

anyone has any idea?

p.s. i even tried copying the qtsomething.dll and every solution suggested, (even tried every possible compatibility setting).

i forgot to say this happened after the upgrade and update to windows 8.1

ok, hope this will help someone.

the problem is definetely an incompatibility with ati videocard river. i use a pavillion g6 - hp and i switched itunes to work with ati videocard instead of the intel hd graphics and that caused itunes to stop working. i switched it back to intel hd graphics and puff! it works again.

i think i'll leave it that way. hope this information will be useful
