Disable smart banners

Apple please let me disable smart banners! I find it very distracting and ANOYING!! for a company that prides its self on inteligent design this is a dumb feature.

Some sujestions would be: the banner only displays once, and when dismised it dosent show again, or a toggle switch to diable the feature entierly (somewhere in the safari settings tab..)

I could be missing something, so if it is possible to already disable it I'd love to know 🙂 (without jailbreaking that is)
