Do I have to format my iAuthor book file from.iba to epub?

I'm using iTunes Producer and need to upload my assets, but my iAuthor file of my book isn't uploading. What's my next step?

Thanks!

Are you using iAuthor to create ePubs or Apples iBooks Author?

There are many ways to produce ePubs without iBooks Author and deliver them to apples iBooks store.

But, you have to prepare your screenshots and title page images.

I have an iPad app I use to "doodle" ideas for books the end product is an ePub and other users upload it to the store.

This link will take you to their support page where you can learn how to submit your files.

Hi Tom,

I replied to a post a few days ago...the OP said they had an ePub and had used iAuthor.

I googled it and came up with a web site which seems to be an outlet for self publishers.

As I was dealing with an ePub and not iBA related question...I did not really spend any time checking the site out.

Then this thread opened with another iAuthor related question.

I appreciate some folk abbreviate in different ways..iBooks Author, so hence my question.

In the Google results I also found on app finder...this which indicates an ePub tool...

If you’ve ever dreamed of writing any type of book and seeing your words, drawings, or pictures in a book, this application will make that dream a reality.

That story that you`ve always had in your mind, or an old tale you would like to tell your kids or grandkids, now you can develop it and make it a reality.

“iAuthor” will give you the tools to reach your goals. With “iAuthor,” you can write your own text, you can draw your characters, or include a picture from your photo file to add to the story, and you can record your voice while the words are highlighted on the page!

Save it on your iPad and read it back to your kids whenever you want.

With “iAuthor” you can create your own story for your own pleasure, or try to sell your book and earn royalties on every sale that you make.
