Iphone 5 has problems with charging ( not the problem with the cable)
My iPhone 5( 6 month) has problems with the charging , but it isn't the problem with the cable.

I would agree with that. I get the message saying that the cable (original apple product) may no longer be supported. I've done the cleaning out of the charging port and it seems to be a software issue as the phone will charge whilst it is switched off!
