Q: Do I have to keep Logic Express installed after I upgrade to Logic Pro?

Would like to delet Logic Express to make space but don't kow if that will make Logic Pro/Studio inoperable.

Got Studio through upgrade form Express.

Logic Studio, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    Nope.

    You SHOULD still be able to run both!

     

    One trick you could try before installing Logic X, is to "Get Info" on the Logic Express Icon, and LOCK it.

    This way, in case the new Logic X DOES want to overwrite Logic Express, it won't be able to.
