Q: How to sync mail accounts between ios7 and Mavericks?

Dear All,

I set up a few mail accounts on my Mavericks, but do not want to do the same process again on my iPhone5.

Is there any solution to make the iphone to pick up the mail accounts defined on Mavericks? The "accounts" list in system settings should be put in sync only...

Thanks in advance!

I am not confused by anything that Csound1 said.

You and cam.gould creating a tag team will solve nothing. Most of the most outrageous venom has been cleaned out, lets just respect the OPs decision on this thread and leave it. I suggest you start your own then you can choose whether to mark it solved, but bear in mind the terms of use.

I am an honest consumer with an honest problem.  If CSound1 doesn't confuse you, maybe you have no idea of the problem, because they're deliberately confusing.  I trust truth and reality, and if a problem isn't solved, it's not solved.

Well, apple currently is not allowing any solutions outside the box.

So, the best we can do is clarify the issue, which you are not helping.

Keep requesting all the posts you can get removed, please.  You are only hurting apple and their customers by those actions.

Nobody is hating on you, we just want to discuss a very real issue in peace.  it's ok if you never knew about the feature or used it.  nobody is judging you on that.

If you wish to discuss things why not go to a discussion site rather than a tech support site, a discussion site is best suited to discussing things.

And I urge you to read the Terms of Use for this site, knowing what you should not do will help you to avoid doing it.

I have nothing to more to say to either of you if you are against people discussing new unresolved issues introduced with the latest upgrades.

This is a weird place for that position though.

In your opinion, but not according to the TOU for the site, the terms that you agreed to.

The funniest part is that these sad trolls, while wasting everyone's time with irrelevant posts, also work hard to remove our posts. That's how we can know we are vindicated They are willing to break the rules constantly, but are willing to work hard to delete posts from anyone who points out how badly behaved they are

At least we know we are decent people, here to help others. Unlike some creepy weirdos

    Cool.

Back to facts and the whole point of this.

If anyone figures out how to synch email settings again please let us know.

So far no solution, it was just removed.  If moderator feels this is inaccurate please post solution.

At least so far, it seems no given solution of any allowed sort offers to synch email settings like we have been able to for years by default on old and new equipment.

    Thanks

*** ist Apple thinking with removing caldendar, addressbock and email syncing. I have customers who really rely on their iOS devices, some of them have lost an iPhone or iPad and have multiple 3, 5 or even more email-IMAP-Accounts configured on their iPhones.

It is a pain in the a... to manually configure all these accounts manually an this little devices. Come on Apple, where are you heading?

I just have read that with the imminent release of 10.9.3 Update calendar and address sync will be back in iTunes. Apple please listen, it is just a little step to put back the email-Sync-Option too!!! thanks

How often do you need to reconfigure your several mail accounts on a new idevice, and how many minutes does it take. I am guessing once a year and 20 minutes. You just wasted ten.
