Same model numbers for all ipads 4th gen?

Im sorry if my question sounds stupid but rather asked than be stupid forever.

My iPad 4th Gen. 64GB White/Silver Wi-Fi only got stolen a few days ago.

My question is do all ipads like mine have the same model "part" number?

Im asking because i was going through craiglist hoping to find my ipad on there since i couldnt set up icloud on my ipad and having in mind that only works where there is free wifi the chances of locating it are almost none.

By the way the Model number is MD515LL/A, and well the post on craiglist has the same model number. so i thought that if not all ipads 4th 64gb wifi only have the same model # that ipad on craiglist might be mine.

If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief will not ever be able to use it.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.

Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

Thanks for replying ppl. Well the ipad is running the latest iOS. Now im pretty sure find my ipad was enabled because i downloaded the app on my iphone and the ipad was shown there and i schedule a wipe once the thief gets the ipad connected to wifi the ipad data was gonna be erased and i wasnt gonna be able to locate it on the app, reason why i made the MISTAKE ;( of removing my device from the list of devices on find my iphone.

Called apple customer center and they told me that removing from the app was a mistake.

Here is another question, will the ipad still do the wipe once it gets online?

or will the ipad show again on find my iphone when the ipad gets internet connection?

cause all it has its the regular 4 digits password, so idk if that really helps;(
