Have not experienced the problems since I stopped using the Belkin keyboard. However, I have found dozens of post from others not using this keyboard who are experiencing the same issues or far worse. Clearly, Apple has a problem here. I've read from many who have returned and are on their second or third AIR, still experiencing the same issues. I updating to 7.04 this morning, See no changes thus far, but have reconnected to the Belkin keyboard. Hope that wasn't a mistake.

I too am having these same issues. Goes into sleep mode and will not reconnect unless I restart. Also, my ipad air will not turn off when i close the Belkin Case as noted. Sometimes the Belkin Keyboard does not respond when typing and the Ipad air keyboard appears. Any suggestions? Frustrated, as both products are less than a month old!

My problem is that the keyboard stops working for no reason and I'm forced to use the screen keyboard. This is a real pain with this Belkin keyboard! Anyone else have this problem (yes, Bluetooth is on and the keyboard is charged). Also, I have had intermitten freezing problems with the iPad Air and have to do a force restart. Wish these devices came with user manuals of some kind -- it's a royal pain trying to find information.

I'm at the 95% point of upgrading my iPad Mini to an iPad Air and I've been trying to learn enough about keyboards to make a good selection (an important, but not the only, reason for my likely upgrade to the iPad Air is my need to graduate from this on-screen keyboard which I only seem to be able to operate one finger at a time) to a separate physical keyboard. I've watched the various YouTubeex offerings reviewing the competitive keyboard offeringss and have been leaning toward the slightly more expensive

Belkin Ultimate (the $129.95 one), but the Belkin web page for that model, at least, notes that there is an apparent operating conflict with IOS7 and they're working on it. My other issue with that Belkin model (maybe it's not limited to that model) is that apparently it is NOT designed to put the iPad Air to sleep when closed and awaken it when opened. This issue is, I think, entirely separate from the sleep/awakefulness of the keyboard itself which is a concern of the postings here.

I've been happily using my Belkin Ultimate keyboard for the iPad Air for a week and it has gone well with no glitches. I do miss the cursor up/down of a PC keyboard but I'm adjusting to that. The keyboard itself has a very positive touch, although it lacks "clicks." Coming from the on-display pretty simplistic keyboard of my traded-in iPad Mini and from my desktop PC, I'm still experimenting with the Belkin's various not easily identified functions.

I've noted, above, my general good luck with the "Ultimate" Belkin keyboard which may be functionally different from the "Slim-style" keyboard, in that my iPad Air goes into "sleep" mode after a minute or so of inactivity; therefore, when I close up the iPad,keyboard combination it will shortly go to sleep. There appears to be very little drain on the pretty good battery in the iPad. Certainly, even overnght the battery use in sleep mode is almost undetectable. I think that the same effect would happen with the Belkin slim-style case; however, if the iPad were to remain dormant for a few days I guess it would be better to shut it down completely. Certainly I'd do that if I were to travel and not take the iPad with me, perhaps a somewhat, but infinitesmally small, likelyhood than it would have been with the iPad Mini I traded in.
