In the old version of iPages on the iPad you could double tap a word then hit define and it would give you the definition. This is missing in the new version. Anyone know how to access this feature please. thanks.
Do you still have the definition feature with iBooks or Notes or Safari?
Yes, still words in safari etc just not iPages!
I had the same problem when I downloaded the new app and then found the solution. If you have iBooks, open any book and double tap a word. "Define" should appear as one of the options. When I tapped on it, it said I did not have a dictionary downloaded and asked if I wanted to. Say "yes" and it will give you a full range of dictionaries in the cloud to choose from for free and in many languages. Once you download a dictionary go back to Pages and the "Define" feature should be there. It worked for me. Hope it works for you.
Tried it Patrick. But the "Define" tab does not appear on double tapping a word in Pages 2.0.1(1069) which was possible in earlier versions.
