Q: Hope some one can help with this issue......

I'm a NOC operator and part of my responsibilities is to recovery and manage Tablets from terminated employees lateley we have been running into some issues with some Ipads, quite a few termed employees bound our ipads with their personal Iclouds accounts and now we are not able to recover/reset these ipads with out their info and trying to reach out to them like support suggest on this web page is not an option for us. As a result of this we now have 500$ bricks laying around as most of these are out of warranty. I would like to find a way to work around this ISSUE with IOS7 and icould that binds devises to user accounts with no way of recovery.....this could present an issue for big corperations like ours where we have 400 ipads in circulation and we are not able to redistribute, recover or reset these devices. Can some one please help!!!

A big part of the new OIS 7 update it has to do with enabling security that disables the device from reset without specific password authentication. One specific suggestion could be made that upon termination feedback that the employee be required to disable 'find my device' through icloud on his company owned Apple devices. Without this option being disabled there is little that can be done to restore the device.

See this article for more specifics.

The only way around it is for the corporation to configure the iPads with proprietary software within the iOS.  It includes configuring iCloud and Find My iPad with the corporate controlled email account; an account which returns to IT control upon termination of the employee.  Apple has a team that can help businesses do this.

Unfortunately for you, none of this includes the ability to travel backwards in time.
