in app purchase - i phone download problems

Hello.

I downloaded a free app. Then made an in app purchase to unlock other letters (alphabet game). Purchase was successful but nothing unlocked. I did check that automatic downloads is selected. So I thought maybe the purchase didn't go through, I tried to buy again and it said I had already purchased just not downloaded. How do I download it then?
