Forgot my remote and can't get to my settings.....

I'm at a hotel room, and I'm able to connect my iPhone and iPads to the net, I connected my Apple TV and I forgot my remote at home. I am unable to set anything to my Apple TV, so since I can't move on my Apple TV without the remote I can't connect it to the internet ,,, I don't see why if I've used the remote app on all my devices with. Y Apple TV before that it won't let me select anything,,, so here I am, can anyone help?
