Mac Mini envelopes printing full page size from contacts

Good day.

So here’s my story.

In early summer I printed out enveoples form "Address Book" for our wedding invitations from a Macbook pro 2.16 GHz running 10.6.8. Everything worked out perfectly.

I then got a Mac Mini 2.7 GHz Core i7 for a wedding gift and I did a data migration from my Macbook Pro to the mac Mini. It was running 10.8.5 and is now running the latest version or Maverics. The printer I used for both envelope printing jobs, an HP CM1415fnw color MPF has also been updated to the latest software version.

The problem I am having is that the Mac mini will NOT print envelopes in the custom envelope size, it always prints full page. It has done this since the data migration form the Macbook Pro running "Address Book" to the Mac Mini 10.8 running "Contacts". I thought is was an operating system issue so I waited for the new OS Maverics. I did another print out from both computers tonight to see if the issue had resoleved it's self. NOPE. I even do a print preview on the mini which loads up Preview and it shows the custom size, though it prints out full page

All settings on both computers are the same for the custom envelope size.

Anyone know how I can fix the paper size issue?

Thanks for anyhelp I get

Hi Rodger_

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues printing to your Laserjet CM1415nfw since moving to a Mac Mini.

You give absolutely wonderful detail in your notes and your screen shots. I have a couple of questions, when you moved to the Mac mini did you install the full feature printer software? After you upgraded to Mavericks did you install the full feature printer software? I have included a link to the complete full feature software if you haven't.

Just before I did the last print test on the mini I made sure I was on the latest operating software for the mini and I uninstalled with HP unistall the divers for the printer then reinstalled the drivers.

I have before this test (a month or so ago), updated the software on the printer its self, while trying to find a solution to this problem but for this specific test I had not updated the printer software.

Hi Rodger_

Thank you for the additional information, it was helpful.

I was speaking with one of my colleagues and we would like you to try the following steps. Once you have completed the steps please try printing again.

1) Please reset your printing system, I have included a document on how to do this. Please be aware that this reset deletes all print settings and pending print jobs from your Mac.

2) In the "Printers & Scanners" please click on the '+' and choose "Add another printer or scanner from the options (see screen shot)

3) Choose your Laserjet CM1415fnw and at the bottom where it says "USE" please change it to the HP Laserjet (see screen shot) instead of AirPrint
