Old Apple ID

I have an old apple itunes ID that has a lot of music associated to it. I havent used the account in a long time as I use a different log on. Anyway I now need to authorise a computer to play the music and cannot reset my password and the email account has been shotdown. I have trued remembering the security qusestions but that hasnot worked either.... Anyone know how I can get aroud this?
