Why can't I see my gmail contacts on my ipad
I have been trying for one week to view my gmail contacts on my new mini iPad and it is just not happening

In Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar, tap on your Gmail account. Do you have the Contact setting turned on?
In Contacts, tap on Groups in the upper left. Is there a check mark next to "All Gmail Contacts"?
If neither of those help, delete the Gmail account and add it back.
