ios 7 bugs and why isn't Apple fixing them?

I am getting really annoyed by some of the glaring bugs ever since ios 7's release, and the fact Apple has released a few updates yet still won't fix some of these bugs......Just some of the bugs I've easily noted:

1. When composing text messages, after you hit send, your message won't appear in the chat windows sometimes until you pull down and release the screen.

2. Spell check will red underline a word, but if you keep typing, the red underline will dissapear so you can't go back and review possible mispelled words.

3. Prior to ios 7, I used to easily be able to copy/paste pictures from the web into a chat window, and the pictures would resize themselves to fit and look properly......now the pictures are usually too large to even tell what they were, or sometimes when you try to do a copy/paste on a picture, it will just copy the URL link and not the picture itself.

These bugs are really annoying, and I'm just really baffled why Apple hasn't fixed this stuff yet!

There is no evidence that this anything other than random considering the millions if iOS devices that have updated to iOS7

I have iPhone 5 and 4 and iPad mini and 3G all on iOS7 and all working perfectly as have millions of other users

Sure you have issues as do others, but it is not an epidemic

Have you actually tried any basic troubleshooting on the software ,as laid out in the user guide

Yeah, mine is working fine, too, an iPhone 4s with 7.0.4. Sounds like your update did not go well, don't you hate that? I do. And I know it's a hassle but I'd do a restore to factory settings and let it update again to 7.0.4. That will probably fix things nicely. I wasn't keen on updating at all but when Apple stole 3GB of space on both my phone and iPad with an unwanted pushed update file, I eventually gave in and updated them - I at least waited until 7.0.4. Anyway, 7 seems pretty decent and it works well enough.

Before I updated mine, I removed all added apps and other data so it started with a very empty phone. Then after the OS update I re-synced everything back to the phone. Also, I did the update using iTunes and not the pushed update file. It way my only way of rebelling! lol

Do the restore and you should be good to go.

So are there any other suggestions? I mean, if restoring the phone didn't work to solve these bugs, what else can I do? It's obviously a software problem, but I'm puzzled to why no one else is having these issues.

Because it is not what you think it is.

Did you really restore as new and not from your backup?

Ok, so I did the restore to original settings today, then did a restore of my phone......same issues still persist.

I assume you reverted to the original settings (restore iphone), then it sounds like you did a "restore a backup"? If so, then you simply reloaded the stuff that was causing the problem.

You need to "restore iphone" and update the iOS to 7.x.x. You want a clean slate.

Don't restore from a backup.

Manually set up the phone with apps, music, etc. And don't install any apps you don't use very often. In other words, make things simple to begin with, then add apps back in as you go.

Hope this helps.

you're correct, I did do a restore from a backup......I can assume Apple has a record of every app I've paid for, correct? So if I go to re-download things I've purchased I should have no issues, correct?

Also, I'm pretty sure when I first did a restore of my iphone through Itunes, it automatically loaded ios 7.04. I wasn't able to manually apply any ios updates, it just loaded the newest one. Did I not do this procedure correctly?

Yes, you can download previous puchases. Note: only if it's still available in iTunes Store.

Anyway your iTunes library should have a copy. if not, connect and select iPhone in iTunes sidebar, right click on iPhone in sidebar choose "Transfer purchases" before you restore as new.

No issues? Probably not but there are no guarantees in life. 😝

Sounds like that part worked fine. Now you just need to skip restoring from a backup and essentially start from scratch picking which apps to install, etc.. Odds are all will be fine.
