i have a new computer, do i need to download my songs from iCloud in order to listen to them when there is no wifi?

I have a new mac and the hard drive is shot...do I need to download my songs off of Icloud in order to listen to Itunes if there is no internet?

Thanks for the question. Yes, iTunes Match requires an active internet connection. However, you can download your content to your local drive for offline use.
