Nov 24, 2013 10:33 AM in response to happygolfer72by Kappy,It is located in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. If you don't see the Library folder in your Home folder, then:
Exposing the /Home/Library/ Folder
Pick one of the following methods:
A. This method will make the folder visible permanently. Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and paste the following at the command prompt:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN.
B. Click on the Desktop, press the OPTION (⌥) button, select Library from the Finder's Go menu.
C. Select Go To Folder from the Finder's Go menu. Paste the following in the path field:
~/Library
Press the Go button.

Nov 24, 2013 10:39 AM in response to happygolfer72by Old Toad,If you've ever run iPhoto with your current setup there will be a preference file. Download and use Find Any File to search for "com.apple.iPhoto.plist". FAF searches areas that Spotlight can't. If there is such a file on your hard drive it will find it.
Note: there will be a file by that name in each iPhoto library you have. The one you want to delete is the on in the Library/Preferences folder.
