Q: Do I need to pay for iMovie even if I buy iPhone 5c?
Two days before I bought iPhone 5c. When I try to download iMovie app, it shows under paid app list. Per apple they said it was free for iOS 7 customers. Is there anything I should do before downloading?
iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.4

Hey k4kartii,
Thanks for the question. The first time you launch the App Store on your new iOS 7 device, you should have been presented with the opportunity to download the free Apple apps:
About Free Apple Apps for iOS 7 compatible devices
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5913
The first time you launch the App Store in iOS 7 on your qualifying new or factory refurbished iOS device, you will be offered iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for free in addition to other free software from Apple. When you tap Download All and sign in with your Apple ID, the apps will download to your device and appear in your store account. If you tap Not Now when you see the offer, you can search for the apps in the store and download them one at a time for free.
Thanks,
Matt M.
