I'm not sure if I'm getting what you're saying. I lost my Iphone 5s and I'm not sure if I turned on the Find my Iphone app. I looked online and they say that you're suppose to turn it on or download it before you lose it in order to find or locate your phone. I've gone onto my icloud account and it says that my iphone is just offline when i click on the Find my iphone..

Then you activated Find My iPhone. The Find My iPhone app is so you could use another iOS device to track your device. The only thing you had to do was activate it in Settings, which it appears you did, since you are seeing it, even though it is off line. More than likely, the person that stole the device has turned it off. If this was an iPhone 5s, which is what you show in your profile, the activation lock in iOS 7 will not allow the thief to restore the device to use it. It will not be able to be activated. Suggest that you send a lock/wipe command, even if you had a passcode on the device to ensure your data is safe. Also, if the thief tries to activate the phone, it will not activate, but you will be able to see the location as well. Make sure you report the theft to your carrier and the police. Also change the passwords on all accounts you had on the phone.
