I created a new event/projects with iMovie 10 and was working on it for a few weeks, the event is now showing up as 'empty' in iMovie although the files are still available in the finder(iMovie library -->show package contents). I tried deleating the plist file from user/library/preferences but no joy.

Can I get iMovie 10 to recognize these files again?

    Hi caoimhinfisher,

I had to copy and paste the file into another folder and then import the file again from the newly created file. I've just upgraded to 10.0.3 and I have about 35+ to re-import. A little frustrating. But on the bright side the files don't take nearly as long (also due to my drives having thunderbolt cables between them) as the original import from the tape.

I will be watching to see if there are any other quicker or more automated ways to get these files back - this is the second time this happened to me. Is it time to buy Final Cut Pro??
